A surprising buttery full bodied red without overpowering oakiness

"⭐️3.85

🍷Color: deep and rich ruby

🍒Fruit: black cherry finish is dark fruit

🍃Spice: Tobacco

👅Body: surprisingly full buttery

🌳Oak: none on nose no feel on palate.

🍁Tannin: Med

\🧬Acidity: Med high

%⚗️Alcohol: 15

🎬Summary: I was pleasantly surprised at this one. It is a rich deep blend with an interesting choice of grapes. The label doesn’t mention oak barrel and I see little in the nose or palate but the grapes provide plenty of body tannin and flavor. cherry tobacco butter black fruit white pepper carob.

If you are looking for a rich, velvety red without an overpowering oak palate and smooth round tannins this is a good choice. At 2 years old it was enjoyable and I expect the fullness of the body will carry this forward for 3-4 more years.

PS Congratulations to Nif as well as this was an AWC 2021 Gold Award Winner and 2022 CMC Silver Medalist.
